What's Next for Vijay after AR Murugadoss, Chimbu Devan Films?

Vijay, who is basking in the success of "Jilla", is all set to start his new film with director AR Murugadoss.

The shooting of the untitled flick is expected to kick off in February. Expectations are high for the film as Vijay is teaming up with Murugadoss after the stupendous success of 2012-release "Thuppakki."

Apart from this big budget project, Vijay will work in a new film with director Chimbu Devan of "Imsai Arasan 23m Pulikesi" fame. The film touted to be a fantasy entertainer is expected to go on floors this September.

Vijay to Appear in Double Role in Murugadoss Film

The shooting of Vijay's much-awaited film with director AR Murugadoss is all set to commence in February.

Latest buzz doing the rounds is that "Ilayathalapathy" (Vijay is fondly referred by this name) might be doing a dual role in the film, which is touted to be an action entertainer. However, there is no official confirmation on the same.

Expectations for the Vijay-Murugadoss are sky high as the actor-director duo is teaming up for the second time, post the success of 2012 blockbuster flick "Thuppakki." As of now, there are not many details known about the film.
Vijay is confirmed to play the male lead role, but details about the other cast members are yet to be revealed. Earlier, it was reported that Samantha will be playing the female lead but in the recent times,The film's team is yet to announce the female lead and the supporting cast members.

They haven't revealed the film's title as well. Speculations were rife that the film has been named "Vaal" (Sword), but the director has confirmed that his project still remains untitled. 

Samantha to work with Vijay in Murugadoss' Project

Samantha is going to be seen in director AR Murugadoss' next film opposite Ilayathalapathy Vijay. Currently, This will be the first time Vijay will be working with Samantha in any film.

Vijay AR.Murugadoss Project progressing in Chennai

After completing the first schedule of their upcoming film in Kolakata, actor Vijay and director A.R.Murugdoss,  the Thuppakki duo have started shooting in Chennai. Reliable sources have confirmed that the second schedule of the untitled film produced by Lyka Entertainments has started in Chennai and it is currently going on in Chennai International Airport.

We also hear that the shooting that is currently taking place is that of a song that has been composed by young music director Anirudh Ravichander.  Sources close to the composer revealed that Vijay suggested a few corrections in the song and Anirudh gave the corrected version to the star's approval, a few days back. While Vijay was listening to the song, sitting in his fully closed car, curious fans were standing close to the car and recorded the sounds of the song that were echoing outside the car. This proves the level of expectation for every bit of Vijay's 56th film which is his second one with A.R.Murugdoss.

Vijay's 57 th Film

Vijay’s 57th movie is going to be directed by A.R Murugadoss and Vijay will be pairing up with Samantha for the first time. Music for the untitled film will be scored by Anirudh and camera will be done by George who worked in Raja Rani. Vijay and A.R Murugadoss has earlier given a blockbuster hit Thuppakki in 2012. Thuppakki is in the list of all time Top 20 Highest Grossing Indian films Worldwide as per Wikipedia.

Recently A.R Murugadoss has confirmed that his script for Vijay movie has been ready. An official confirmation about the movie with complete cast and crew and expected soon.
